To support the operational continuity of Vopak Colombia S.A. in Barranquilla, Transnaval executed a temporary dock solution by assembling a barge union using the vessels MP-33 and CONDESA N.2. This initiative was designed to serve as a floating platform during key logistics and infrastructure stages at the port terminal. The configuration required high-precision alignment, mooring systems, and load stability control to ensure safe and effective use.
The temporary dock allowed for uninterrupted operations while fixed infrastructure was undergoing adaptation or unavailable. This project highlights Transnaval’s ability to engineer adaptive solutions tailored to client needs in dynamic maritime environments.
